Pupil Voice

The aims of our council is to:

    • Enable children and young people to be active stakeholders in their school

    • Provide an extra network of communication throughout the school

    • Teach the basics about our political systems

    • Assist with organisation of special events and fundraising activities

    • Add an important dimension to the review of behaviour management and associated policy and practice

    • Improve standards of behaviour

    • Build pupil’s confidence and self-esteem

    • Encourage shy and disaffected pupils to be more involved

    • Reduce the likelihood of bullying

    • Offer pupils the opportunity to learn additional valuable skills

  • We will do our best to keep our school healthy, calm, safe and inclusive

  • We want people to speak up and express their feelings. We want to give other students the opportunity to share their ideas, feelings, emotions and things that they may wish to change about school

  • We will do our best to respect our environment. We will encourage people to keep our school clean and encourage no littering/recycling

  • We will be approachable to other students and set a good example

  • We will have projects each term that will benefit the whole school and individuals.
