Lavender class have been working hard since the start of the Spring term. They have been especially enjoying their Forest school lessons, making use of the school’s new hammock and making pizzas on the outdoor fire. 

Lavender have been making delicious meals in their cooking lessons, learning new recipes such as meat and potato pies and steamed dumplings. They have learned lots of new skills this half term, including making their own pastry.

In ICT Lavender class have been using Tinkercad to make their own 3D designs, which been printed on the school’s 3D printer. The class have all shown resilience in using the new software and have been proud of their 3D prints.

Lavender class are looking forward to the next half term, where we will be starting reading Charlie and the Chocolate factory in our English lessons.  In ICT they will continue using the 3D printer and Tinkercad to develop their 3D designs. In Motional we will be using our creative sides in ‘Aerospace engineering’. The class are also looking forward to the opening of the refurbished Library and finding out who the new student Librarians are.
