Form Team Overview

We are a year 9 and 10 form. We enjoy a variety of activities such as football, card and board games and crafts. All of these helps us with regulation and relationships. We also enjoy going for trips out. We have recently been to geek retreat, tenpin, alpaca farm, Shire horse centre and a variety of cafes.

Things to look forward to…

February 2026

This term has been a busy and enjoyable one for our class, filled with opportunities to learn new skills, work together and take part in wider school events.

We were proud to take part in the school’s Macmillan Coffee event, where we welcomed parents, carers and school governors into our classroom for coffee and cake. It was a fantastic opportunity for pupils to build confidence, develop their communication skills and contribute to such an important cause.

We have also showed great teamwork and enterprise skills at the school Christmas fair, where we made and sold small chocolate gift bags to help raise money. The pupils worked hard preparing the gifts and were delighted to see how well they were received.

Our Christmas form trip was a real highlight. We enjoyed an exciting game of crazy pool at The Flower Bowl, followed by a delicious lunch at Billy Bob’s. It was a wonderful way to celebrate the end of term and spend quality time together outside of school.

Some of our students have particularly enjoyed using our new Esports facilities, both during lessons and in Esports Club. They have shown great focus, teamwork and strategic thinking while developing their gaming and communication skills.

Our Duke of Edinburgh students continue to show commitment and resilience in their activities and are looking forward to developing their practical sports skills further next term, including learning new techniques through MMA training.

During social times, we continue to enjoy playing football, getting creative with crafts, and taking part in games – especially favourites like Uno and Chase the Queen, which always bring out our competitive spirit and teamwork.

We are proud of the positive attitudes, cooperation and enthusiasm our pupils show each day, and we look forward to another exciting term ahead.
