Our aim is always to help students re‑engage with learning, experience success, and move towards positive long‑term outcomes. We support pupils by offering individually tailored timetables that meet their specific needs. This may include reduced hours or involvement in an Alternative Provision.

At our school, we use Alternative Provision to ensure that every student can access an education that is right for them. Some young people face challenges that make full‑time, school‑based learning difficult—whether due to social, emotional, or mental health needs, gaps in learning, or barriers that affect their engagement in a traditional classroom. Alternative Provision allows us to offer a personalised, flexible approach that helps students rebuild confidence, develop key skills, and make meaningful progress in a setting that supports their wellbeing.

Students also have opportunities to take part in work‑related learning activities and gain accredited qualifications that support their pathway beyond Year 11. Additionally, all KS4 pupils are offered the chance to participate in taster courses across a range of vocational subjects at a local college.
