Welcome to Linden
Welcome to Linden Class, a KS4 group were we focus on building our social and communication skills, helping each other grow in confidence and feel comfortable as part of the team. Each week, students take part in SALT and Motional sessions, which give them time to talk, understand their emotions and develop skills that help both in school and everyday life.

Form Team Overview
Our staff team is fantastic—always encouraging, always supportive, and always ready to help students get involved and enjoy their learning. We work hard to make sure Linden is a calm, positive place where everyone feels safe and valued.
Students follow individualised curriculums, choosing options that suit their interests and strengths. Popular choices include Home Cooking and ESports, which build practical skills in fun, engaging ways.
In Linden class every student is helped to achieve their best.
Things to look forward to…
February 2026
This half term has been a busy and exciting one for Class Linden. We enjoyed a fantastic trip to Conwy, where students captured photographs of the bridge and castle to support their GCSE Art coursework. The visit was not only creative but also a great opportunity to experience the local area, with everyone enjoying some traditional fish and chips and ice cream.
Our Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) activities have kept us active, with plenty of walking across a range of locations including Delamere, Knutsford, and Alderley Edge. Students have also taken part in a variety of enrichment activities such as MMA and ice skating, developing confidence, teamwork, and resilience.
Year 11 students have shown real dedication this term, working hard as they prepare for their final exams in the summer. Their focus and commitment have been excellent to see.
Next half term, we are looking forward to continuing to prepare for exams and further developing our skills. We will also focus on building independence, particularly through improving money-handling skills during our trips, as well as taking part in a range of new and exciting experiences.
